Ivan Will Represent All the People of House District 33.
Ivan Posey, Candidate for Wyoming House District 33.
“I have served my country in the military, in public service to the Wind River Tribes, and through my career in natural resources and education.
I support effective government for the people and believe that the primary role of a government is providing for the people’s health, safety, education, and wellbeing. An elected public servant’s role is ensuring these are supported AND equitably delivered to all the people, regardless of where they live or who they are.”
Born and Raised Here!
House District 33 needs real representation. Ivan has lived in Fremont County his entire life, except for schooling at a boarding school in Oklahoma and service in the United States Army. He has served in tribal government, worked for the USDA Forest Service, and is an educator at Central Wyoming College. He knows the people of House District 33 because he is one.

Real Representation
House District 33 is Wyoming’s only minority majority district. Ivan understands the challenges facing members of both the Eastern Shoshone and Northern Arapaho tribes and will work to address them.
Through his work with the USDA Forest Service, Ivan has worked with the area’s outdoor recreationists and many of the ranching families that make up a sizeable portion of the district. Ivan will work to represent all of House District 33.
-
Respectful, Civil Discussion
Ivan will humbly approach the opportunity to represent the people of House District 33. A self-styled conservative Democrat, Ivan will work for practical, commonsense solutions that meet the needs of all the people of the district.
