On Thursday, October 3rd, Ivan Posey will be in Atlantic City to meet you and answer your questions about his candidacy for the Wyoming Legislature HD 33. This Meet and Greet will start at 6 PM and will be at the St. Andrew’s Church Community Room, 50 E. Forbes St., Atlantic City.

"I worked for the United States Forest Service in the Shoshone National Forest. And I was the only Indian there," the 64-year-old said. "I'm the only Indian, and it's named after us."

Currently, the Wyoming Legislature is overwhelmingly white, male, and Republican, with only a handful of Native American officials elected since 1980.

But what actually helped me make my mind up [about running] was reading the last legislative budget session and seeing that there were still people that are moderate and willing to work together, and that have the best interest of Wyoming in mind.
